Third Class had an absolute blast participating in the school Sportathon, organised by the amazing Sixth Class! We eagerly took part in all the fun activities, from the obstacle course to tag rugby. The energy was electric, with everyone cheering each other on!
Our class had an amazing day out at the International Literacy Festival! We started by listening to some authors. Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch together. Then, we headed to the park and just had a blast in the sunshine.
We had a super cool visit from a planetarium this week! The kids were so excited to step inside and learn all about the stars, planets, and galaxies. They got to see a simulated night sky and learn about constellations and the solar system. It was a truly out-of-this-world experience!
We’ve been all about trying new things in third class! We’ve been exploring some fun new activities during our PE lessons. Some of the class have been trying out cricket for the first time, learning how to hold the bat and bowl. We’ve also been practicing our skipping skills.
We’ve been making the most of the sunshine and taking our learning outdoors! The kids have been loving it. We’ve had some fantastic lessons in the yard, from nature walks to some reading time. We’re also using the space for some fun games and activities during break times.
Happy Pancake Tuesday 3rd Class!
